FabFilter have reinvented their ProâL limiter for the new world of loudness normalisation. Ozone does have some nifty products - I still use Insight quite a bit, and Tonal Balance Control is really tempting as a reality check for tired ears - but for the basics of EQ, compression, and limiting, Pro Q, C, and L are so much easier to work with and sound amazing to me. The Pro L-2 from Fabfilter makes its way onto at least three-quarters of the tracks I master, itâs that good. You can create your own multiband compressor, too, simply by using sends, EQs, and compressors! Presets. ![]() I heard it once or twice a long time ago and thought it sounded badly. I currently own iZotope Ozone 7 and love it. FabFilter Pro-L 2 delivers this with a range of eight limiting algorithms, each designed with their own character, providing eight different flavours which can be applied to different program material. ![]() ![]() L2 by Waves used to be my go-to Limiter, as I loved that you can adjust the Threshold and Output gain at the same time.
